About the role

We’re looking for a creative, social-first storyteller to help grow the TFA brand and engage the next generation of graduates and early career professionals through compelling content. This is not an entry-level posting role.This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes social media, understands platform trends and audience behaviour, is comfortable both behind and in front of the camera, and is passionate about using storytelling to drive impact.

You’ll grow TFA’s social media presence across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube, creating integrated content that builds brand awareness, grows community engagement and supports recruitment into our programs and other key initiatives. You’ll report into our Content Specialist and work with the broader marketing team to bring stories to life from across the country.

What you'll do:

  • Plan, create, schedule and publish content across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube
  • Create engaging short-form video, photo and written content tailored to platform best practice and audience behaviour.
  • Run boosting campaigns to grow awareness and engagement
  • Capture and edit content using mobile and professional equipment, including filming interviews, events and behind-the-scenes content.
  • Develop content calendars aligned to campaigns and recruitment priorities
  • Write compelling captions and copy, and grow engagement across our social channels
  • Stay ahead of platform trends, algorithm changes and evolving best practice across TikTok, Instagram and emerging channels to ensure TFA content remains relevant, engaging and high-performing
  • Work with internal stakeholders, Alumni and Associates to source authentic stories
  • Report on performance and optimise content based on insights

  • Have strong storytelling instincts, can create content quickly without sacrificing quality
  • Are highly organised and proactive
  • Understand Gen Z and early career audiences
  • Actively keep up with platform trends, algorithm shifts and evolving best practice in social media
  • Enjoy both strategy and execution
  • Are willing to travel

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Demonstrated experience in a social media, content or digital marketing.
  • Strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram, including platform trends, audience engagement and short-form content best practice.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience using Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
  • Experience managing content calendars and publishing workflows.
  • A passion for storytelling, creativity and purpose-driven work.
