TaskForce is a not-for-profit organisation providing community programs and services to those most in need. TaskForce focuses on the social issues of addiction, youth disengagement, unemployment, mental health and high risk taking behaviours. As an established values based organisation, we are committed to high quality outcomes for our clients. This JVES contract is being delivered in partnership with AfriAusCare (AAC) and Centre for Multicultural Youth (CMY). It is a great time to join us!

The Program

Funded by the Victorian Government, the new Jobs Victoria Employment Services (JVES) program is one element of a range of Jobs Victoria initiatives designed to offer personalised employment support to long-term unemployed jobseekers or jobseekers at risk of being long-term unemployed to secure work.

The position

This is a part-time opportunity, based in Cranbourne, 22.5 hours per week spread across 3 to 5 days and is flexible. We are looking for a skilled and driven individual with previous Employment Services experience with Employers who can achieve positive outcomes for our clients in the South East. The primary objective of the Employment Broker is to develop strong connections with employers and industry bodies assisting them to meet their workforce needs by connecting them with jobseekers that will suit their businesses. There will be a strong focus on building new relationships with employers with an aim to generating return business. The role will also include undertaking ‘reverse marketing’ of clients to suitable employers. The right person for this role will possess resilience, a genuine passion for recruitment and working with those in need. The ability to meet individual targets whilst contributing to an established team will be essential!.

You will be results-focussed with an ability to approach problems/barriers with creativity and integrity. You possess resilience, a genuine passion for recruitment and working with those in need.
