Scope of role

The ANZ Talent Sourcing Lead will play an integral role within the TBB ecosystem as the focal point between the ANZ program’s corporate outreach team and the global recruitment team, as the primary agent overseeing the facilitation of job opportunities for refugee professionals to Australia and New Zealand. You will be in charge of building and delivering candidate pipelines through continuous analysis and strategic sourcing in order to deliver upon both immediate and forecasted hiring needs. We are seeking a dynamic, creative and hands-on person who demonstrates excellence across a diverse set of responsibilities and who will thrive as part of a fast-moving, collaborative and global team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage with the global recruitment team, particularly the Operations Manager, to identify and execute refugee candidate generation strategies based on hiring projections in Australia and New Zealand
  • Comprehend existing sourcing plans and priorities to develop and implement talent pipelining that supports a consistent flow of qualified refugee candidates directly linked to key opportunities and roles
  • Liaise with corporate teams to understand employer preferences and visa requirements in order to assess areas where the talent pipeline will need to grow to meet future talent needs; share insights with corporate teams to help inform and design their outreach strategies
  • Manage candidates shortlists via TBB’s Talent Catalog and Salesforce databases and ensure timely and accurate reporting of progress through recruitment stages
  • Work with the global communications team and industry leads and other TBB talent sourcing partners to analyse data trends in the Talent Catalog to gain market intelligence on how to further extend TBB’s talent pool to match Australia and New Zealand's business needs
  • Work with Capacity Building Lead and TBB talent sourcing partners to ensure the successful support of high potential candidates suitable for opportunities in Australia and New Zealand and transform them to active candidates and hires
  • Assist in pre-selecting and screening candidates for suitability based on opportunity requirements; ensure Job Opportunity Intakes are fully complete to inform TBB and partner recruitment team strategies per employment opportunity
  • Provide quality control support with regards to candidate lists, including refining CVs, prior to employer submission
  • Work with partners to drive candidate matching and support
  • Influence change and drive change management for new solutions/ new ways of approaching sourcing and technology within the recruitment process

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & ATTITUDES

Essential

  • 3+ years of professional experience, ideally related to project management, recruitment and talent acquisition
  • A clear communicator with a demonstrated ability to establish effective and working relations with all types of stakeholders
  • Good judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Demonstrated commitment to working collaboratively in order to deliver best outcomes
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to a dynamic work environment
  • Strong computer literacy and willingness to use/learn to use a range of online collaborative tools (Salesforce, Slack, Google Suite, Trello, etc.)
  • Tolerance of rapid change and ambiguity

Desirable

  • Fluent in written Arabic, French, Dari, Pashto or Spanish (strongly desired)
  • Successful completion of relevant Bachelors’ or Masters’ level qualifications
  • Lived refugee experience
  • Experience working with people of refugee or marginalised backgrounds
