Taldumande Youth Services gives young people experiencing homelessness a safe place to land and the support to build a future. We're a passionate, close-knit Sydney NFP, and we're looking for an ambitious Fundraising & Marketing Coordinator to help us grow our impact.
About the role
This is a broad, fast-moving role at the heart of everything Taldumande does beyond direct service delivery. You'll own the fundraising and events calendar, steward relationships with donors and corporate partners, manage the grant pipeline, and produce content that moves people to give. You'll work directly with the CEO, preparing pitches and presentations, and collaborate with our external digital marketing agency, experienced fundraising committee, and videographers.
What you'll do
- Run fundraising events end-to-end, including supporting our flagship annual Family Dinner from supplier negotiations to wrap-up
- Manage the website: update content, set up ticketing, and keep it looking sharp
- Create visual assets in Canva and AI and brief designers for campaigns, events and appeals
- Track the grant pipeline, deadlines, acquittals, funder relationships, and use AI tools to help draft and refine applications
- Use AI to research donor trends, sector data, and funding opportunities, then turn thoseinsights into pitches and proposals for the CEO
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners, community groups, government bodies and individual donors
- Coordinate video projects and digital campaigns alongside external creatives
- Monitor and report on online fundraising platforms and digital giving performance
Who we're looking for
- Degree qualified in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field
- Genuinely comfortable using AI tools for research, writing and content
- Confident managing websites, ticketing platforms and digital tools without needing handholding
- Skilled in Canva and comfortable across Excel and general software packages
- A natural relationship-builder, warm, credible, and trusted by a wide range of people
- Self-directed and proactive: you spot what needs doing and get on with it
- Creative, with an eye for what makes a campaign or pitch land
