Join Berry Street’s Take Two team and play a pivotal role supporting children, young people and families who have experienced trauma. Based in Northern / Hume area, provide trauma-informed clinical services to adolescents using or at risk of violence and their families. Conduct assessment, treatment and group programs, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver evidence-based interventions to improve safety, behaviour and family functioning.

• Full time, 12 month Fixed Term position
• Base Salary $103k + Super & Salary Packaging

Join Berry Street’s Take Two team as a Clinician within the Wattle and Falcon Projects, delivering specialist trauma-informed therapeutic services to adolescents who use or are at risk of using violence, and their families. You’ll work across Melbourne’s north-east and Hume–Merri-bek regions, using evidence-based approaches to improve safety, wellbeing and family functioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a clinical caseload, providing assessment, treatment and case planning
• Deliver individual, family and group-based therapeutic interventions
• Develop and review treatment plans using evidence-based models (e.g. Neurosequential Model)
• Work collaboratively with families, care teams and partner agencies
• Identify and respond to family violence and clinical risks
• Provide consultation, psychoeducation and stakeholder engagement
• Maintain high-quality case notes, reports and data compliance

About You

You are a skilled, values-driven clinician with experience working with young people and families impacted by trauma, complex needs and family violence. You bring strong engagement skills, sound clinical judgement and the ability to work collaboratively across systems to achieve meaningful outcomes

You will have:

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g. Psychology, Social Work, OT, Family Therapy)
• Experience delivering therapeutic interventions to adolescents and families
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practice and family violence frameworks
• Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills
• Excellent communication, assessment and report writing capability
• Understanding of diverse communities and commitment to inclusive practice
• Current Working With Children Check and driver’s licence
