The Role

We are looking for an experienced hardscaper / handyman who is excited by the opportunity of working in a positive environment, providing assistance with the day to day operations of the Home Modifications Team.

What you’ll do

  • Undertake hardscaping responsibility including works preparations, cutting and laying and sealing of pavers and blocks;
  • Provide technical advice to assist with the design and specification of modified structures, aids and equipment where required;
  • Report and discuss project status and site / workshop issues with the Home Modifications manager and Team on a regular basis;
  • Follow the works scheduling and job allocation tasks coordinated by the Service Coordinators;
  • Assist the estimator with a bill of materials and time allowance for jobs when needed;
  • Undertake general labouring activities where required;
  • Undertake general handyman activities, including the installation of modified structures, brickwork, paving, concreting, plastering, as well as aids and equipment where required;

Must-Haves

  • You’ll have full rights to work in Australia;
  • You’ll possess a current driver licence;
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in paving;
  • Excellent general handyman skills;
  • Ability to develop designs that enable customisation to specific requirements;
  • You represent strong work ethics and are driven by integrity, teamwork, discipline and quality;
  • You’re a champion at juggling tasks and organising your time;
  • You want to go home each night knowing that you have improved someone’s life.
