The Role:

VincentCare Victoria is seeking an appropriately-qualified, energetic, committed person, to take on the position of Community Support Worker to deliver a high quality of in home care and support to Home Care Package clients living in the Western and Northern Metro Regions.

The Community Support Worker will undertake specific tasks within the Clients home and community as previously negotiated between the client and their Package Case Manager, with the aim of supporting their ability to remain living independently.

Seniors Living comprises of a Wellbeing centre, Home Care Packages/Assisted Care and Housing and Community Support Workers who provide services and support  to help older people stay living in their own homes and community for as long as possible.

Selection Criteria:

Mandatory:

  • Cert 111 in Aged Care or HACC
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in delivering in home service and supports to Home Care Package Clients
  • Current Victorian Drivers Licence
  • Reliable car

Desirable

  • Certificate 1 Food Handling
  • First Aid level 1
