Disability and Mental Health Support Workers - Greater Melbourne

Support Studio

ABOUT THE ROLE

Support Studio is a different kind of organisation; a place where people, teamwork and fun are prioritised. This role supports people living with mental health or disability to achieve their goals, using a method that is trauma-informed, strengths-based and person-centred.

This might involve helping them to be more involved in their community, working towards their education or employment goals, improving their health and wellbeing, building their independent living skills, or simply doing more of the activities they enjoy.

OUR VALUES

We aim to put the people we support at the centre of everything we do; to ensure their needs always come first. This involves a commitment to services that are therapeutic, ethical, transparent, and safe. We also value teamwork and work collaboratively to help the people we support achieve their goals. We believe having fun is important too, so you can always count on us for a good time.

WHY WORK WITH US?

  • Access to high-quality supervision, training, reflective practice, secondary consultation, and debriefing.
  • We will work with you to achieve both your personal and professional goals and offer a number of career pathways into leadership, behaviour support, and allied health roles.
  • We have a strong focus on wellbeing and flexibility, with a strong emphasis on work-life balance and the development of your own wellbeing plan.
  • We have created an environment that is fun, caring, and social.
