About the role

To continue to strengthen, innovate and grow we are looking for an experienced Workforce Planner to report into the Workforce Planning Manager who is part of the People, Learning & Culture team. The Workforce Planner is responsible for coordinating a centralized function including the timely allocation and deployment of Community Support Workers across Sunnyfield's Shared Living services, which have 600 employees.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Ensure rosters are scheduled in compliance with service quotes
  • Manage rosters for Shared Living and ensure compliance to the SCHADS Award & business rules
  • Proactively provide to business visibility of potential compliance issues
  • Liaise with the House Managers (Service Coordinators) and Regional Managers
  • Identify vacant positions and proactively forecast resource demand (capacity planning)
  • Contribute to positive relationships with relevant stakeholders
  • Able to act as a change agent

What you'll need to succeed

  • Knowledge of SCHADS Award and practical experience in applying SCHADS to rostering in 24/7 services
  • Previous use of Workforce Planning tool such as Kronos, Riteq or similar
  • Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft Office and mobile devices and applications
  • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Ability to problem solve, deal with challenging situations
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, and the ability to multi-tasks and work within timeframes
  • Relationship management skills and client focus
  • Relevant qualifications in operations, human resources or commerce
