Community Support Worker - Kurri Kurri

Sunnyfield is a not-for-profit organisation. We take great pride in supporting individuals with disability to achieve their goals, build independence, develop life skills and participate as active members of the community.

We're looking for an innovative, empowering and passionate support worker to deliver services within group based programs at our community hubs and deliver individual supports to people with disability in their home or community.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience working in the disability sector
  • Have a current NSW driver's license
  • Availability to work Monday and Wednesday 9am to 3pm and some weekends
  • Be available to work across multiple locations that could include Kurri Kurri, Maitland and Lake Macquarie
  • Peg feeding, epilepsy and medication training essential
  • Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Working With Children Check
  • Ability to work independently & as part of a team
  • Intermediate computer skills & system savvy
