Your Role

The Call Centre Administrator role is an integral part of the Society's outreach and donor engagement efforts.  The role will handle incoming and outgoing calls, provide customer service, and support the wider retail and logistics team.

Your Responsibility

  • Provide administrative support to the retail and logistics teams, includes order processing, transport bookings and other administrative tasks.
  • Support internal teams such as truck drivers, warehouse staff, transport coordinators to resolve issues relating to order fulfillment, delivery delays, product availability.
  • Work with the Retail Support Officer relating to complex issues or other matters that need resolution.
  • Accurate, efficient and timely updating of the transport management system (TMS).
  • Identify opportunities to streamline call centre processes; participate in quality monitoring activities.
  • Undertake other general administration tasks as directed by the Retail Support Officer.

You Will Need

  • Proven experience in a call centre or customer service role, preferably within the logistics and transportation industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills, with focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Proficient skills in using a range of Microsoft applications; ability to quickly learn and adapt to new work systems.
  • Knowledge of logistics and transport processes.
  • Proven ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
