A little bit about you

You're an experienced project professional who enjoys bringing people together to deliver meaningful outcomes. You thrive in complex, multi-stakeholder environments and have a proven ability to lead projects from planning through to successful delivery, balancing competing priorities while keeping people engaged along the way.

You build strong relationships with ease and are confident facilitating workshops, managing stakeholder expectations, and influencing positive change across all levels of an organisation. You're a strategic thinker who can translate ideas into practical action, while maintaining strong governance, communication and project controls.

You enjoy working collaboratively across teams, are passionate about continuous improvement, and understand that successful change is achieved by bringing people on the journey. Experience within community services, not-for-profit, health or membership-based organisations will be highly regarded, along with an understanding of service delivery, referral pathways and customer or member-focused frameworks.

Most importantly, you're motivated by purpose and are excited by the opportunity to contribute to an organisation that makes a genuine difference in the lives of people and communities.

About the role

The Project Lead is responsible for the implementation of a number of strategic initiatives and projects in our membership space. This role will lead the foundation and establishment of our referrals, partnership and case management capability across the society as well as leading projects to optimise the support structures provided to membership to optimise efficiency and meaningful support for our Members.

This role requires excellent stakeholder management skills, working closely with our Membership & Special Works team and our Member Governance structures to implement projects that have lasting change and support the Society in meeting its strategic objectives. This role requires navigating community and social service systems to support design and implementation of these practices in a member led organisation.
