Starick is a not-for-profit organisation operating primarily in the Perth Metropolitan South-East Corridor. Starick supports women, children and young people experiencing and escaping family and domestic violence across the continuum of prevention, early intervention, crisis and healing.
We are seeking a Work Health and Safety (WHS) Officer to join our team on a fixed‑term basis for six months, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent role.
The WHS Officer plays a key role in coordinating and strengthening Starick’s work health and safety systems, with a strong focus on proactive, preventative and practical approaches to both physical and psychosocial safety.
During the initial fixed‑term period, the role will have a specific focus on:
The role works closely with the People and Culture team, managers, Health and Safety Representatives and the WHS Committee to embed sustainable WHS practices across multiple service sites.
