SSI is delivering the Asylum Seeker Employment Skills Support program (ASESS) on behalf of the NSW Government, providing employment support services to address the challenges experienced by asylum seekers in finding suitable long-term employment opportunities.
The ASESS Employment Team Leader is responsible for ensuring exceptional, trauma informed, participant-centred service to deliver employment outcomes for asylum seekers.
Reporting to the Program Manager, the ASESS Employment Team Leader is responsible for providing day-to-day leadership of the ASESS program across Regional NSW. With Griffith as a base, you will be working across the Riverina Murray region and travel across the state, to oversee a team comprising full-time and part-time: ASESS Employment Navigators, Employment Advocate/s and Community Advocate/s
The ASESS Employment Team Leader monitors, tracks, forecasts and reports on KPI targets for the team, to ensure the delivery of the SSI Service Delivery Model (SDM) in full alignment with ASESS DEED requirements.
