Behaviour Support Practitioner / Subcontractor Specialist Behaviour

Specialist Behaviour

Work that stretches you. Supervision that raises your standard. Access to our full suite of resources.

We're a specialist team committed to rights-based, trauma-informed, person-centred practice - and we're looking for someone who shares that same standard.

If you're after genuine diversity of work and clinical supervision that informs and sharpens your practice, we'd love to hear from you.

TO BE A GREAT FIT, YOU'LL HAVE:

  • A tertiary degree relevant to Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
  • Training and/or robust professional development in a focused area of practice
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a PBS practitioner
  • Demonstrable PBS experience, with endorsement at Proficient, Advanced and/or Specialist level
  • Strong skills in Functional Behaviour Assessment, behaviour support planning, and rights-centred, trauma-informed practice
  • Experience building family and staff capability
  • Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams, with solid familiarity with NDIS practice and compliance standards
  • The ability to work independently, reliably and professionally as a contracted practitioner, with your own ABN
  • Bringing an existing client load is a strong asset - though we understand this isn't always achievable, and it won't count against your application.

WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES:

  • Short-term client engagements and practice support - assessment, plan development, training and consultations
  • Contributing practical, evidence-based recommendations and supporting implementation
  • Flexible hours, with in-person visits across Melbourne Metropolitan
  • Clear, timely documentation and professional communication with teams and stakeholders

WHY WORK WITH US?

  • Diversity of work - cases outside standard NDIS Behaviour Support, so no two weeks look the same
  • High-level clinical supervision - individual supervision with our Company Director and/or Practice Manager, plus free monthly peer supervision
  • A generous hourly rate
  • A small specialist team focused on quality, rights-based, evidence-informed PBS - not volume
  • Full access to our online training suite, peer-powered roundtables, resource library, practice guides and templates

A REPUTATION THAT OPENS DOORS

We're known for the quality of our work - and it shows in where our referrals come from:

  • Schools and educational settings
  • NDIS
  • Out-of-Home Care
  • Department of Families, Fairness and Housing
