Your Impact

You will provide support to the Finance Manager and work as part of a close-knit team in areas of the AEU finances. Specifically, you will:

• Support day-to-day accounts administration, including accounts payable and receivable
• Process invoices, payments, receipts and ensure accurate general ledger allocations
• Reconcile bank accounts, corporate cards and travel-related expenses
• Assist with month-end, year-end, audit and budget preparation
• Respond to financial enquiries from internal and external stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and reporting efficiency

What you bring

You have demonstrated experience working in a similar finance role with good understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. You have excellent communication skills, high attention to detail and can work to tight deadlines with competing priorities. You will also have:

• Certificate IV or higher in Accounting, Business or a related discipline
• Strong technical expertise using Xero and associated programs eg Approval Max and Dext
• Intermediate to advanced skills using Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word)
• Demonstrating strong financial acumen and a good understanding of policies and procedures in a professional environment.
