About SNHN

SNHN has an important role in supporting and strengthening primary healthcare in the Northern Sydney region and we believe this is best achieved by working collaboratively with our network of local health providers including General Practice, Allied Health, the Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) and other public and private health and social care services. This is reflected in our approach to commissioning, which aims to drive improvements in quality, safety, integration and person-centredness.

A key focus of the SNHN is to assist over 900,000 people in our region to care for their own health and when necessary, effectively navigate a (complex) health care and support system. This is achieved by working together with a network of health professionals including General Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Allied Health Providers, the NSLHD and other health and community services.
