We have 60 years+ experience providing services to people experiencing marginalisation, disadvantage, social isolation and homelessness and have a non-judgmental service approach to our community. St. Mary’s House of Welcome is known as a voice for its clients and a fearless advocate for their rights with a commitment to empowerment and restoring independence.
We are expanding our St Mary’s House of Welcome Homlessness team and seeking experienced community support workers to join the. The Community Support Workers provide non-clinical community-based support and build respectful and compassionate relationships with participants. Our Homelessness team work collaboratively to provide a safe and supportive environment for service users, volunteers and staff. They actively engage in risk assessments and provide interim / short term case management, case coordination and referrals specific to the individual need of the client and group programs.
You will:
Relevant tertiary qualifications (Certificate IV or above).
