A brand new part time opportunity has been established within a highly respected iconic Australian organisation - Surf Life Saving.

You will have the opportunity to use your coordination and administrative skills to support the education programs, specifically within the Illawarra Surf Life Saving Branch.

Key responsibilities

Program Coordination – Develop the educational calendar, assist in planning and coordinating training courses, workshops and educational events as well as the availability of training resources.

Administration support - Manage paperwork and process awards, maintain accurate records and databases, respond to inquiries from stakeholders and provide other administration support as required.

Communication and promotion - Promote education programs, attend education committee meetings, distribute agendas and take minutes.

Compliance and Reporting - Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and policies, prepare regular reports and assist in monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of education programs.

Skills required

• Proven experience in program administration and coordination
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience in using Microsoft software packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and in preparing correspondence and reports as required.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Self-starter and can work in a semi- autonomous environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

An understanding of Surf Life Saving principles and practices would be an advantage.
