Psychologists / Social Workers / Counsellors - Macedon Ranges / Bendigo

Seeking Minds PTY LTD
  • Contract Psychologists, Social Workers & Counsellors wanted
  • Relational, contained practice across NDIS & private clients
  • Depth-focused, ethical, reflective team across Macedon Ranges and Bendigo

At Seeking Minds, we are a growing, specialised, and intentionally contained allied health service grounded in relational, trauma-informed, and person-centred practice. We support people to live meaningful, connected lives across both NDIS, as a NDIS registered provider, and private practice streams.

Our work is guided by clinical depth, curiosity, and reflective practice, with a strong commitment to ethical, rights-based, and human-centred care.

We are seeking experienced Psychologists, Social Workers, and Counsellors who value meaningful therapeutic engagement, formulation-informed practice, and sustainable caseloads over high-volume service delivery.

This role will suit clinicians drawn to relational, thoughtful, and intentional clinical practice within a supportive and reflective team environment.

About the Role

You will provide psychological, social work, or counselling interventions across a balanced caseload of NDIS participants and private clients.

This includes therapeutic work informed by formulation, relational practice, and evidence-based approaches, tailored to each person’s goals, strengths, and lived experience.

You will be part of a transdisciplinary, reflective team that values collaboration, clinical reasoning, and ongoing professional growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver individualised therapeutic interventions across diverse presentations
  • Develop and apply formulation-informed approaches to guide clinical work
  • Support psychosocial, emotional, behavioural, and functional outcomes
  • Complete reports, assessments, and clinical documentation as required
  • Collaborate with families, support networks, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Engage in supervision, reflective practice, and structured clinical discussion

Why Work with Seeking Minds

We intentionally maintain a contained and sustainable practice model, ensuring clinicians have the space and support to deliver thoughtful, high-quality work.

We offer:

  • Flexible work-from-home and community-based arrangements
  • A balanced caseload across NDIS and private practice clients
  • Structured supervision and reflective debriefing
  • A relational, supportive, and clinically engaged team culture
  • Opportunities for professional development and PBS-related practice
  • Fully autonomous contractor arrangements within a values-led service
  • Competitive remuneration: $90 – $135 per hour (negotiable), depending on discipline and experience

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking clinicians who:

  • Are qualified Psychologists, Social Workers, or Counsellors
  • Hold relevant registration or professional membership
  • Have experience supporting people with complex presentations
  • Demonstrate strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills
  • Work in a client-centred, relational, and ethically grounded way
  • Value reflection, curiosity, and collaboration in clinical practice

This role is best suited to clinicians who are drawn to contained, relational, and meaningful therapeutic work, rather than high-volume service delivery models.

About Seeking Minds

Seeking Minds is a relational practice. We prioritise:

  • Therapeutic relationships that are meaningful and sustained
  • Reflective, formulation-informed clinical work
  • Sustainable caseloads and ethical service delivery
  • Respect for lived experience and human rights
  • Growth through curiosity, connection, and collaboration

We are growing intentionally, building a service defined by quality, not volume.

Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)

We are particularly interested in clinicians who:

  • Hold registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS, or
  • Are interested in developing skills in Positive Behaviour Support

Please include any PBS experience or interest in your application.
