Who is Seed?

Seed is Australia’s first Indigenous youth-led climate network. We’re building a movement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people for climate justice.

Our vision is for strong and connected young mob empowered to protect Country, culture and communities from climate change. We know that when First Nations people are the decision-makers on matters that impact us and Country, everyone benefits.

The Role

This is a volunteer position. All expenses associated with the role, such as travel, are covered by Seed.

As the Secretary, you’ll help keep our decision-making accountable, inclusive and culturally strong by ensuring we meet our legal, constitutional and cultural responsibilities.

This role is about more than compliance, it’s about strengthening First Nations governance so our movement stays strong for generations to come.

If you bring skills but don’t yet have Board-level experience, we’d still love to hear from you. At Seed, we invest in people and support new leaders to grow.
