Help deliver national health projects that make a real difference

We’re seeking an experienced Program & Project Manager to lead the coordination, development and delivery of national health projects and high‑quality consumer information resources.

This role suits someone with strong project management capability, excellent research and writing skills, and confidence delivering health content across multiple formats, including web, digital, visual, and video.

This is a contract role commencing April/May 2026 and ending March 2027.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver national projects on time, within scope and within budget.
  • Collaborate with advisory groups, experts, consumers and partners to develop accurate and engaging content.
  • Plan, develop and deliver consumer health information resources.
  • Work with external suppliers, agencies and digital service providers to support project delivery.
  • Develop project plans, schedules and documentation, and track deliverables, milestones and budgets.
  • Support promotional campaigns and assist in delivering national programs and initiatives.
  • Manage project communications, risks and reporting across stakeholders.
  • Build strong, positive working relationships with the Arthritis Australia team and external partners.

What you’ll bring

  • Strong project management experience with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • Ability to interpret health/medical information and communicate it clearly to consumers
  • Experience delivering health content across a range of formats (written, web, digital, video)
  • Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a small, agile team
  • Experience with external delivery partners and content production teams
  • Familiarity with WordPress or Drupal is an advantage but not required
  • Experience in the NFP sector is an advantage but not required. Applicants from government or health agencies are encouraged.
