We are seeking an energetic and innovative team player who will find motivation in making a difference to the health and wellbeing of our community. Using the strengths and meeting the needs of our community, this person will support and provide leadership in creating a healthier Sunbury where people, live, learn, work and play. As this is a temporary role, we have some exciting pieces of work for the next 12 months including working on a new approach to preventing violence against women.

Applicants must have proven skills and experience in Health promotion or Community Development, to be able to plan multi-strategy health promotion interventions, and implement in partnership with stakeholders. Applicants also need to have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of health promotion theory and practice, with a specific focus on the underlying social determinants of health and Asset Based Community Driven principles.
