When disasters strike, children are always the most vulnerable. That's why Save the Children stands ready to deploy, providing immediate psychosocial support and staying as long as it takes to help children and families recover from their losses, restore their lives and build their resilience for years to come. Our newly established Journey of Hope (JoH) program works directly with children in schools, led by early years facilitators.

We run programs in Australia and overseas and, if there's a disaster - like a bushfire, earthquake, drought or conflict - we are there on the ground.
In this full-time (preferably), fixed term position (six months, with potential to extend), you'll work in partnership with a Senior Facilitator to deliver the JoH program throughout the East Gippsland region. You'll work in collaboration with schools and early childhood providers, ensuring high quality service delivery in accordance with the agreed implementation plan. You'll work in the fire affected communities around East Gippsland, and will report to our Team Leader - Journey of Hope.
