To fit with our SANDBAG team you'll need a commitment to social justice and inclusion, a hands-on attitude, compassion, curiosity, and playfulness. If you are from a First Nations' background, a person with disability, and/or identify as LGBTIQA+ we encourage you to apply. As a community-based organisation with a focus on the 4017 suburbs, we value local knowledge and connections.
Sandgate and Bracken Ridge Action Group (known as SANDBAG) is an independent, not for profit, community based and managed organisation, that operates a Neighbourhood Centre, community development projects, a Domestic and Family Abuse Counselling Service for women and children, and provides paid traineeships in conservation.
