The Opportunity

As a Learning and Development Officer, you will play a crucial role in the organisation's talent development and growth strategy. Your responsibilities encompass a wide range of high-level capabilities that are essential to fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the company.

  • Facilitation and delivery of training.
  • Learning resource development and design.
  • Collates learning needs and outcomes.

About You

Essential Experience and Qualifications to include:

  • Hold a Diploma or higher-level qualification in a Community Service.
  • Have 2 years' experience working with young people in a residential care.
  • 12-months' experience in a training or coaching.
  • Be an excellent communicator and ability to build strong connections with others.
  • Experience in the design, development, implementation and evaluation of Induction programs.
  • Confidently facilitate a workshop and utilise a variety of learning methods to support the transfer of learning.
  • Apply data to assist in decision making.
  • Meet deadlines whilst applying strong prioritisation skills to ensure the attention is on L&D interventions that impact the business in the short-term and long-term.
  • Enthusiasm and drive for learning.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (verbal, written and listening) with the ability to confidently and communicate and interact with all team members to quickly build rapport with Stakeholders.
