Your new role

We have multiple casual store assistant positions available at our brand new Op Shop located in Fairfield. Available shifts include weekdays and weekends.

As a store assistant, you'll be responsible for sorting donations, selecting quality stock and pricing items. Join us and be surrounded by fabulous fashion, vintage goods, vinyl music and a great team culture!

Your day-to-day

You will become a key contributor to the operations of our op shop. A typical day may be physically demanding and will involve sorting and processing donations, merchandising, operating the point of sale and closing and opening the store. You’ll be constantly building and managing relationships by providing outstanding customer service to our donors and customers.

We're looking for someone who:

• Will provide customers with a memorable in-store experience and contributes to building a loyal customer base.
• Can identify, sort and price designer and vintage wear, homewares, collectibles and antiques.
• Can work well with volunteers.
• Can maintain an exceptional in-store environment.
• Is able to effectively process all transactions

• Op shop employee level 2 ($30.39 per hour) depending on your experience
