Complement your existing work

Add occasional, purposeful paid facilitation work alongside your current employment, private practice, consulting or other professional commitments.

Build community connection

Lead open and respectful conversations that strengthen awareness, accountability and understanding of driving behaviour and the broader impacts of road trauma.

Become part of a values-led team

Work alongside experienced facilitators, lived experience volunteer speakers and emergency service presenters, with training and ongoing support from Amber Community.

What you’ll do

  • Facilitate conversations using restorative and narrative-based approaches.
  • Share information and raise awareness of road safety, driving behaviour and the broader impacts of road trauma.
  • Encourage participants to reflect on their experiences and identify safer choices.
  • Work alongside lived experience volunteer speakers and emergency service presenters to provide powerful, real-world insights.
  • Follow Amber Community’s program framework and contribute to a safe and supportive environment.

Who we’re looking for

We would love to hear from people who:

  • Have experience facilitating groups.
  • Come from therapeutic, community, education, youth, justice, health or related professional backgrounds.
  • Are strong communicators who can create respectful and supportive environments.
  • Are comfortable facilitating conversations about behaviour, personal choices and road safety.
  • Live in or near Horsham, Swan Hill, Mildura or Melton and can reliably deliver face-to-face programs in their nominated location.
  • Are available for occasional evening work, some Saturdays and potentially daytime programs.
  • Can meet the screening and compliance requirements of the role.

Previous experience in road safety is welcomed but not essential. Program training and ongoing support will be provided.
