The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals; New South Wales (RSPCA NSW) is an Australian not-for-profit organisation that treats, protects, and rehomes animals. As a charity, we strive to ensure that no animal is turned away or forgotten, regardless of whether they are abandoned, neglected, injured, or surrendered into our care. ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Supporter Care Officer, you will be part of a dedicated group at the heart of RSPCA NSW, who ensure our donors always feel valued and appreciated. As the central hub of the Fundraising team, we connect and support every program, providing care and communication to our donors each day. Beyond donor support, we play a vital role in assisting our Regular Giving, Individual Giving, Community Fundraising, Philanthropy, Gifts in Wills, Lottery, and Workplace Giving programs - helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes while building strong, lasting relationships with our supporters.​

ABOUT YOU

Experience:

• Minimum 1 years' experience in an administration or secretarial role
• Salesforce experience desirable
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Prior experience working in a team environment and supporting project tasks

Skills:

• Confident and professional telephone manner, delivering a warm and personalised donor experience
• Outstanding attention to detail when maintaining accurate donor records
• Flexibility to shift between administrative and donor-facing tasks
• Active listener with empathy and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously, with a proactive approach to improving processes and the donor experience
