Your new role

RSL Lifecare have been providing reablement, restorative care, nursing and well-being solutions both in the community for over 30 years.

As a valued member of the well-respected RSL LifeCare at Home team, you will be providing Exercise Physiologist services to support our client’s. You will be a key team member helping to deliver a variety of services to meet our client’s unique circumstances and needs ranging from entry level through to complex health needs.

As an Exercise Physiologist you will be responsible for:

• Program design and reviewing of resident programs in consultation with our Physiotherapists.
• Conducting small group exercise classes in our gym facility.
• Implement individual treatment plans. This may involve training in the Site or clients’ residence.
• Communicate with clients, residents and their representatives in relation to all aspects of quality of care and quality of life issues.
• Promote independence in activities of daily living for the clients or residents.

Due to significant growth of new RSL LifeCare clients requiring our support, we have a part-time role available. Depending on what you are seeking, this opportunity may vary depending on your availability between 10 to 20 hours per week that can be worked Monday to Friday between 9am-3pm.

Essential Criteria:

• Current ESSA Registration
• Current First Aid Certificate and Yearly CPR Refresher
• Proficiency in written and verbal English
• Demonstrated experience in leading exercise classes
• Current Australian Drivers License
• Ability to obtain a Medicare provider number
