About the role…

Based at our Adelaide clinics (Angle Park and Hove) , this position is a part-time 12‑month fixed‑term contract, commencing June 2026, with 15–20 hours per week and Saturdays required on a rotating roster.

You will independently deliver specialised exercise and therapy programs to participants, lead and monitor clinical projects, and ensure service targets are met.

You will confidently manage less common or complex clinical situations and play an important part in developing the capability of the team by providing guidance and mentoring to less experienced practitioners. Your work directly supports SCIA’s commitment to innovation, continuous improvement and high‑quality, person‑centred services.

Your clients may include people with Spinal Cord Injury, Traumatic Brain Injury, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, and other neurological or disability‑related conditions.

Key deliverables include:

• Managing a neurological caseload — developing a balanced mix of clients aligned with your professional growth.
• Delivering physiotherapy interventions across multiple settings including open‑gym clinic, home visits, community visits, telehealth and hydrotherapy.
• Using evidence‑based practice to set goals, track outcomes and support meaningful progress for each participant.
• Advocating for clients with providers such as NDIS, LSA and equipment suppliers.
• Participating in professional development through national mentoring, internal training, webinars and a generous external PD budget.
• Contributing to project work and multidisciplinary collaboration to grow your non‑clinical skills.

• Confidence with manual handling, including transfers, loading and positioning, with training and support provided.

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Current Physiotherapy registration with AHPRA
• A driver’s licence and full access to a vehicle
• CPR + first Aid accreditation
• Working with Children’s Check and National police Check
• Experience and / or Knowledge of National Disability Insurance Scheme

NDIS client experience is preferred, but not essential with on the job training and continued education opportunities available. A passion to learn, expand knowledge in a developing workspace and an ability to work in a multidisciplinary and diverse team are essential.
