We are looking for compassionate and motivated Support Workers to join our Metro North NDIS team based in Aspley.

This is more than a support role. It is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day. You will walk alongside people living with psychosocial disability, supporting them to develop everyday living skills, connect with their community, build confidence, and achieve the goals that are important to them.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred support to clients with daily tasks, personal care, and community access, helping them achieve their goals and maintain independence.
  • Foster a positive program culture grounded in RFQ’s values of empowerment, trust, compassion, resilience, and respect.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records using digital tools and follow organisational policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Actively contribute to a collaborative team environment through open communication and regular participation in team meetings.
  • Respond flexibly to rostered duties and supervisor directions, ensuring consistent and reliable client support.
  • Identify, report, and assist in managing hazards, incidents, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in supervision and professional development to continually build your skills and knowledge.

You will have:

  • Experience, or the ability to provide quality support to people with mental illness, helping them achieve their goals within organisational requirements.
  • Diploma in a human services related field; or Certificate IV in Mental Health or equivalent and demonstrated previous experience working with people with mental illness
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and record-keeping skills using office and mobile technologies, as well as access to a smart phone suitable for work purposes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, contribute to a positive, collaborative culture, and reliably meet schedules, timelines, and defined outcomes.
  • Open driver’s licence, access to a registered vehicle and smartphone suitable for work.
  • Undergo criminal history screening and obtain and maintain a positive notice and Yellow Card pursuant to the Disability Services Act 2006 (Qld)
