Join us in a permanent full-time role in Maryborough, Wide Bay and make a meaningful difference every day. As a Recovery Support Worker in our Transition from Corrections program, you will work collaboratively with the Prison Mental Health service to transition people out of corrections and reintegrate them back into the community. This includes providing reach-in support whilst clients are still incarcerated and intensive community-based support once they are discharged. You will assist clients to achieve their identified goals and aspirations, provide support with day-to-day tasks and activities and develop professional working relationships with stakeholders to achieve best possible outcomes for clients.
In this role, you will work alongside people to support their recovery journey and community transition, in line with RFQ’s commitment to person-centred practice, inclusion, and wellbeing. You will also contribute to a respectful and collaborative team culture, uphold safety and quality standards, and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with program requirements. This role is suited to someone who is committed to supporting people through significant life transitions and delivering recovery-focused support aligned with RFQ values.
