We are seeking an exceptional Practice Lead (PL) to provide organisation wide specialist practice leadership across RFQ.

This is a senior opportunity for an experienced mental health professional who brings strong clinical judgement, credibility, and a genuine commitment to recovery oriented and person centred practice. Working across services, the Practice Lead supports reflective practice, complex decision making, risk formulation, and practice consistency across the organisation.

The role operates as a trusted senior practice authority within scope, contributing to practice supervision, complex case consultation, organisational learning, and continuous improvement. You will work alongside leaders and teams to strengthen capability, support safe and high quality service delivery, and help shape the systems and practices that guide recovery oriented care across RFQ.

About You

You are an experienced mental health professional who brings strong practice leadership, sound judgement, and the ability to navigate complexity with confidence and care.

You understand the importance of reflective practice, professional integrity, and consistent, high quality service delivery. You are someone people turn to for guidance in complex situations, and you know how to balance accountability with compassion.

You bring experience working within mental health, psychosocial, or recovery oriented environments and are confident supporting teams through complex decision making, risk formulation, and practice challenges. You value collaboration, communicate with authenticity, and can influence practice through credibility, insight, and strong relationships.

To help create meaningful wellbeing outcomes for individuals, communities, and teams, you will have one of the following: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in a health discipline, such as Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or Nursing; and/or
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing a clinical or multidisciplinary team in mental health services. 

You will also bring significant experience in:

  • Practice leadership, supervision, or specialist practice support
  • Complex case consultation and reflective practice
  • Risk assessment and formulation
  • Supporting practice consistency and continuous improvement
  • Working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams

  • $145,000 - $162,000 base salary plus superannuation, depending on experience
