The Role

Reporting to the Pacific Regional Manager, the Regional Coordinator will ensure compliance with regulatory authorities in Fiji and immigration departments through the Pacific region. The Pacific Regional Office is responsible for the coordination and implementation of the Australia Assists Program in the Pacific region. The role coordinate RedR Australia deployees in the Pacific region across the full deployment life-cycle from on-boarding, budget formulation, contract development, visa and work permit acquisition, and provision of in-country support to ensure successful deployment outcomes. The role will work closely with the Pacific Regional Administrator, based in the Suva Office and the Humanitarian Resourcing Specialist based in the Melbourne office. This role will work with local and international partners including United Nations agencies, Pacific Island Governments, Regional Organisations and a multitude of Australian diplomatic missions overseas.

The role will work closely with all other staff to ensure RedR Australia continues to be a leader in international humanitarian response, through its selection, training and deployment of technical specialists.

The role attracts a salary of FJ$70,000.
