The role:

The Management Accountant is the main point of contact between Finance and the business and is responsible for the delivery of accurate and timely reporting, lodgment of statutory forms, payroll processing, process improvement, management of financial data and maintenance of a strong internal controls environment. This role has become available due to the current Finance Manager being assigned to an internal project.

The Finance department provides pivotal support to the Marketing, Fundraising and Service Departments and plays a key role in the Redkite’s overall ability to provide support to the children and families. 

About you:

This position is ideal for someone who is CA/CPA Qualified (or equivalent) and has at least 4 years relevant experience in a Management Accountant role. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following skills & experience: 

• Experience with Salesforce / FinancialForce (or other large database) desirable
• Ability to operate with a flexible approach in a team environment and have a genuine desire to work as a supportive team member
• Proactive and able to work independently, including monitoring and correction where necessary of own work
• Highly skilled in ability to prioritise tasks, use initiative and be self-directed to meet deadlines
• Effective relationship management skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
