Employment Consultant

Reddin Group
  • Make a real difference to the community
  • Outstanding flexibility and benefits
  • Leading provider of support services

I would like to introduce you to a long serving, leading, not for profit organisation that provides critical services to a large and growing area of the community in need of experienced services and support. It is the pre-eminent supplier of support to this area and you in fact come across their services every day – without even knowing it! They provide total support in a personal sense as well as vital equipment and training. One of those critical services is employment support, assisting those in need with the tools to secure meaningful work.

This provider, headquartered out of Melbourne, provides quality support across Victoria and Tasmania with a strategy to expand nationally. Importantly it works closely with ‘blue-chip’ Partners such as Woolworths, TAC and other large organisations and government. The individuals supported are funded, in the main, through the Disability Employment Service program and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

You will develop individually tailored pathways to help clients secure and maintain sustainable employment, managing a caseload of jobseekers by providing quality support, guidance, and direction. You will monitor these pathways and define development plans and strategies to meet the skills needs of employers. There are also a number of critical outcomes, and effective reporting and compliance to government regulations are also important aspects to the role.

The members of this community are impacted purely by circumstance and to provide them with the support they need engenders a very high sense of purpose and reward. You have the ability to truly change lives and make a positive social impact. Further, we are building a team here which affords us the opportunity to build a strong, close-knit group. Your manager, I would also add, is highly regarded and his achievements, outside of work, are an inspiration.

The organisation provides a flexible and attractive salary package including broad, market leading benefits around leave and support. Critically, as a not-for-profit entity, you get the full benefit of salary packaging, increasing your overall take-home pay. The role will have a mix of working in the office to build the team dynamic mixed with the flexibility of working from home. Combined, the role provides a highly appealing mix of flexibility, autonomy, and support.

You potentially have experience as an Employment Consultant, across any industry, or perhaps more broadly have experience providing coaching support to individuals such as outplacement and career transition services. We are open to those who have the empathy, patience, and the drive. The organisation will in turn invest in you and provide full training around all aspects of the role and the community you will work with.

I would be very pleased to speak to you about the incredible opportunities here and welcome your call - to me, Andrew Telburn on 0412 342 073. Alternatively, feel free to email any questions to [email protected] using the subject line: Employment Consultant enquiry via EthicalJobs, and to apply click on the link.
