Due to growth, we are seeking a proactive Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Analyst Revenue and Billing, who is a Chartered Accountant, this is a key role in the Finance team and is responsible for ensuring the integrity of billing activities as well as reporting and analysing the various KPI’s arising therefrom. Collaborative stakeholder engagement is a vital component of the role and the successful candidate will be required to foster positive relationships both internally and externally.

About the role:

As our Accountant, you will join a dynamic revenue and billing team, which is part of our larger Finance team. Working closely with the Finance Analyst, you will provide accounting, analytical and transactional support.

To be successful in this role, you will:  

• Have a minimum five years’ experience in an accounting role.
• Be studying towards or completion of accounting qualification CA or CPA (or equivalent)
• Competence in using Excel especially to extract and review large volumes of data.
• Experience using modules with an ERP system such as accounts receivable, cash receipting and customer management systems.
• Have a propensity to make improvements and be inquisitive.
• Analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to provide high levels of customer service, both internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work constructively and positively in a finance team.
• Current Driver’s licence
• Evidence of current influenza vaccine
• National Police Clearance (no older than 3 months)
