Family Relationship Centres are an initiative of the Federal Government. They provide services to families at all life stages to help strengthen family relationships, overcome relationship difficulties and ease the burden of separation, with a focus on children. Centres provide information and referral to all families and offer family dispute resolution services to help separating families make workable arrangements for their children without having to go to court.
Permanent – 3-4 days per week
Essential to this position is a tertiary level qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or Counselling and practical experience in the field of child development, grief, trauma and family dynamics.
A sound knowledge and understanding of current theory and practice related to attachment, belonging, conflict, mental health, family and domestic violence is required. The position operates within the family dispute resolution process.
This position is for 3 – 4 days per week, from 9am -5pm.
