headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds, along with assistance in promoting young peoples’ wellbeing. This covers core areas including mental health, physical health, work and study support and alcohol and other drug services. Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) is the lead agency for headspace Wonthaggi, which is governed by a consortium of local community organisations who provide expertise, support and advice to RAV.
Reporting to the Center Manager, your responsibilities include providing early intervention counselling and case management to children aged 4–11 within the Connect Me program. The role delivers child-centred and family-focused support through individual and group work, school outreach, and coordinated engagement with families, schools, and community services. It includes intake, assessment, therapeutic interventions, and community activities aimed at strengthening protective factors and improving children’s wellbeing.
This role is located at Wonthaggi and is a temporary, part-time role working 4 days per week with the expectation that one day per week will be an evening shift. The base salary range is $98,027 - $105,084 (pro-rata) per annum.
