As a minimum, an undergraduate level qualification in Social or Behavioural Sciences, in addition to experience in:

  • Driving excellence in service delivery and performance
  • Leadership and supporting teams through change
  • Developing a positive workplace culture in a complex environment
  • Providing case management, consultation and support to clinical practitioners
  • Performance management, monitoring and review
  • Complex case management, assessment, intake and risk screening, case planning, case reviews, co-service delivery and critical incident response

About the Role

A part-time (22.5 hours per week) fixed term (to June 2022) Team Leader - First Nations Program to join our management team based in Townsville as part of RAQ’s Operational Management team, giving you access to regular leadership forums and training. Lead the development and implementation of a new program for Townsville working with First Nations families. The program will focus on building healthy family relationship expectations and addressing violence, safety and wellbeing in relationships.

You’ll provide leadership and support to practitioners in the areas of:

  • Community engagement
  • Complex case management
  • Clinical decision making
  • Duty of care
  • Diary management
  • Performance management
  • Program development

It’s a varied leadership role. You’ll coach, develop and mentor a team against contractual performance targets and community expectations.

Base salary band for the role is $86,500 to $94,000, to be negotiated based on relevant experience.
