About the role
This is a critical leadership position within RANSW, that seeks to be the voice of DIB leadership in the sector. You’ll be responsible for cultural governance in RANSW, which includes support and engagement of RANSW diverse workforce, establishing and maintaining key strategic relationships and collaborations related to the portfolio, and, in conjunction with practice specialists, leaders and action groups, ensuring that our services are designed to respond to the needs of diverse communities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people living with a disability, Culturally and Linguistically diverse communities and people who identify as LGBTIQ.
What you’ll do
- Develop, coordinate, implement and monitor diversity and inclusion strategies and frameworks to ensure the achievement of diversity objectives and targets
- Develop, analyse and review diversity and inclusion programs, metrics and reporting mechanisms
- Gather information and evidence for peak body certification processes and coordinating related audits and applications
- Provide advice to a range of stakeholders on DI&B, including recruitment practices, department strategies, Learning & Development and projects
- Manage the Employee Action Groups and be a strong advocate for inclusion

What you’ll bring
- HR or business management, social science or any other associated fields or equivalent relevant experience
- Knowledge and experience in delivering diversity and inclusion strategies and frameworks
- Demonstrated experience and success in leading and managing work tasks aligned with strategic objectives
- Proactively manage risk and able to respond in a positive and flexible manner to changing demands to achieve outcomes
- Demonstrate strong project management skills and the ability to prioritise work to meet key objectives
