We seek an enthusiastic, dynamic and well-organised person to supervise and empower volunteers to be effective in their roles. This opportunity is ideal for a person with a can-do attitude, strong attention to detail and an interest in the continuous development of RACS’ volunteers and RACS' operations.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders in a confident and respectful manner. The position will suit a person interested in gaining knowledge and insight into a community legal centre assisting with refugees and asylum seekers.

Selection Criteria Essential:

  • Commitment to refugee and human rights issues
  • High-level communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Ability to supervise and empower volunteers to be effective in their roles
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities effectively and meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to work with limited resources in a community legal centre environment
  • High level of computer literacy, proficient with Microsoft Office suite and attention to detail

Interviews will be held in early in the week of the 15th March 2021 with a view to commence at RACS as soon as practicably possible.
