ABOUT THE ROLE

• To assist the Team Leader in providing Leadership to the Advocacy & Support program team.
• To assist the Team Leader in the management of the Advocacy & Support programs.
• Undertake the intake and allocation component for the suite of programs.
• Hold a caseload of ‘Active Hold’ cases within the Advocacy & Support programs.
• Maintain effective working relationships with external stakeholders.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Demonstrated relationships with key stakeholders in Gippsland
• Advanced practical knowledge the ‘Residential Tenancies Act'
• High level of knowledge and experience in attending the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal on behalf of tenants or Landlords
• Organisational and report writing skills.
• Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence/WWC/Police Check
• Minimum requirement of Diploma of Community Services or other relevant or appropriate tertiary qualifications.
