  • Seeking an Administration and Project Support Officer Part-time Fixed-Term

This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate, values driven, and highly organised to join our Operations team. The role is responsible for providing high-quality administrative support across the organisation.

About you:

You will be expected to take personal responsibility for achievement of your own work, set priorities within established plans with guidance from your manager, display initiative and focus on achieving team and organisational objectives. The ability to listen to seek understanding is essential in addition to working collaboratively and building and maintaining professional relationships internally and externally.

You will have:

  1. Relevant qualifications or equivalent relevant experience with demonstrated capability to provide high-quality administrative support, strong organisational skills, and attention to detail.
  2. Proven ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate multiple tasks within agreed timeframes, and apply effective time and project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and the ability to quickly learn and use organisational systems such as Monday.com CRM, SharePoint and LMS platforms.
  4. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively or autonomously, build constructive relationships, engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, and apply strong attention to detail in all work.
  5. Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability and a proactive ‘can-do’ approach to problem-solving and supporting team outcomes.
  6. Commitment to social justice, QCOSS values, and the role of the community services sector in improving outcomes for Queenslanders, including respect for and understanding of First Nations peoples and communities.

In addition, the following mandatory requirement applies:

  • Work Rights: You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment to apply. Visa sponsorship is not available for this appointment.

What you will get:

We will offer you an exciting, rewarding part-time (25 hrs/week,9.30am to 2.30pm, Monday to Friday) 12-month position in a great place to work. You'll learn from, and be supported by the members of the Operations team.

A competitive remuneration package between $77,893.92 and $83,545.28 pro rata per annum is on offer dependent on relevant qualifications and experience to fulfil the requirements of the position.

Superannuation of 13% and salary packaging benefits apply.
