PTC NSW is the profit for purpose peak umbrella body that provides support and member services to its teaching member associations.

PTC NSW is looking for passionate and versatile administration professional who will be responsible for implementing the events, administration and communications activities for our member associations.

We’re looking for someone that wants to join a small close-knit team where you can bring your creativity, ability to multi-task, communications skills and attention to detail, to support our associations in educational events, administration and communications.

About the role;

This is a great opportunity for a highly organised and self-motivated individual with a flair for administration, customer service and educational events. You will represent PTCNSW in a professional and friendly manner whilst coordinating, administrating and attending a number of events and programmes. Please note that the majority of the events you will manage will be professional learning events for teachers or those in the educational sector.

Duties Include;

  • Coordinate the delivery and administration of a variety of events; conferences, training programmes and internal events,
  • Organisation and coordination including room set up, audio visual requirements, resources, catering, administration, RSVP’s and promotion of events,
  • Attend and network at a variety of events including those out of hours (as required),
  • Manage the administration and registration process for all attendees,
  • Communication campaigns for member associations through MailChimp and social media platforms
  • General office administration

To be successful you will have:

  • Minimum of 12 -18 months experience in an administration, customer service or events role
  • Interest in events administration and coordination
  • A can-do attitude, the ability and willingness to take on any task,
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels internally and externally,
  • Social media savvy
  • A high-level attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills,
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Powerpoint, Excel),
  • Virtual and live event operations experience,
