About the role

An exciting opportunity exists to lead the establishment and support the embedding of Launceston Head to Health (formerly Adult Mental Health Centre) within the broader mental health system in Launceston. Find out more at www.primaryhealthtas.com.au/for-health-professionals/programs/mental-health/

This contract opportunity is a full-time position to 30 June 2023 with potential for extension.  Reporting to the Manager – Health Service Design, this project manager position (Technical Lead – Health Service Design – Launceston Head to Health) opportunity involves:

  • Providing significant technical leadership, project management and involvement in the development and continued implementation of an innovative and contemporary community-based Launceston Head to Health (formerly Adult Mental Health Centre).

Skills & Experience:

  • Business, health or other relevant qualifications and/or experience
  • Understanding of health/mental health models of care (desirable, but not essential)
  • Demonstrated experience and skills in the areas of end to end project management and the design and implementation of business/health service processes, logistics and infrastructure 
  • Extensive experience in engaging and working collaboratively with consumers and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships and negotiating outcomes that promote business to business integration preferably in a health sector and service context.
