ABOUT FOODBANK NSW / ACT

Foodbank provides essential food and groceries to more than 1 million vulnerable Australians every year. To do this, we work with the entire Australian food and grocery sector including farmers, wholesalers, manufacturers and retailers who donate and redirect surplus product to us so we can make it available to charities providing emergency food relief.

Foodbank NSW & ACT is a not-for-profit, non-denominational, federated organisation who support over 1,100 schools and place-based organisations right across NSW and ACT.

Each month we provide 337,000 households with food and grocery assistance. Despite Foodbank’s scale and capacity, we are currently only meeting half the need. Foodbank is looking for likeminded people to join the team and support our mission to ensure everyone has access quality food and essentials when they need it.

YOUR IMPACT
