Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced RTO Compliance Officer to join our team and assist us in continuing to deliver high quality courses. This position will be responsible for ensuring we meet out regulatory requirements with ASQA and state regulators.

Experience working in an RTO compliance/quality role is preferred. The incumbent must have excellent research skills and is able to self-manage and work autonomously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the VET sector and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor the RTO's compliance with the VET Quality Framework
  • Communicate and implement any changes to regulatory requirements with other staff members
  • Plan, schedule and either conduct or oversee
  • Internal audits
  • Course reviews
  • Assessment validation
  • All other compliance for the RTO

ESSENTIAL

Experience, Knowledge and Skills

  • Previous experience working in compliance within an RTO environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Standards for RTOs 2015
  • Experience in using an RTO student management system (aXcelerate or other similar)
  • Able to work in multi-disciplined teams in a reliable and highly professional manner
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Research skills
  • Excellent computer skills with an advanced level proficiency in creating documents, marketing materials, editing and publishing
  • Strong working knowledge of computer applications including Outlook and Microsoft Office packages (Word and Excel) as a minimum
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills.
