The PA Research Foundation is the PA Hospital Campus’ fundraising body, funding world class research into deadly and debilitating disease and innovation in patient care. Everyday countless Australian lives, both the young and old, are lost to serious health conditions, many of which could be prevented by early diagnosis, better health care and treatment alternatives.
At the PA Research Foundation we work hand in hand with the community to create opportunities that bring amazing health and medical breakthroughs to life. Breakthroughs which are focussed on improving patient outcomes through new treatment options and better diagnostics.
Thanks to the generous funding from our donors, corporate partners and wider community of supporters, we are providing significant contributions to innovative medical research into diseases such as breast cancer, prostate cancer, skin cancer and bladder cancer – to name a few.
To help us service and grow our existing fundraising campaigns and activities, we’re looking for a motivated, committed and efficient Fundraising and Stewardship Coordinator to join our small but high performing team at the PA Research Foundation. Working within the Fundraising and Marketing team, your primary goal will be to engage and provide exceptional stewardship to our fundraisers and execute key fundraising campaign and activity plans.
We are looking for an exceptional communicator and a genuine people person who likes to roll their sleeves up and just get stuck in. The ideal candidate will be a team player with the ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!
We want someone who is up for the challenge of working to meet goals and deadlines, someone who is highly proactive, deadline oriented but doesn’t sweat the small stuff – someone who loves getting things done.
This role will suit an individual who has solid, grounded communication skills in the not for profit, hospitality or customer relations setting.
We value someone who knows how to have a good laugh, accepts responsibility and works at a fast pace. You must be a team player first and foremost whose approach to work and team mates reflect passion, integrity, innovation, mutual benefits, respect, fun, accountability and friendship.
Outstanding interpersonal approach at any level. Works to overcome barriers - resilient and proactive. Motivated by seeing results. Motivated by the opportunity to grow fundraising income from one on one donor communication to build life-time supporters. Ability to work both autonomously and to deadlines.
The PA Research Foundation offers competitive salary packages including super and the benefits of salary sacrifice. The organisation fosters flexible work arrangements and a supportive team environment.
