The Role:

To help us service and grow our existing fundraising campaigns and activities, we’re looking for a motivated, committed and efficient Fundraising and Stewardship Coordinator to join our small but high performing team at the PA Research Foundation. Working within the Fundraising and Marketing team, your primary goal will be to engage and provide exceptional stewardship to our fundraisers and execute key fundraising campaign and activity plans.

We are looking for an exceptional communicator and a genuine people person who likes to roll their sleeves up and just get stuck in. The ideal candidate will be a team player with the ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent end-to-end customer service and implement strategy across key campaigns Project Pink and MANDATE and other key Foundation stakeholder activities and events as required.
  • Outbound calls and visits with fundraisers and supporters to welcome them, provide additional information and offer to fulfil and support their activities
  • Execute campaign stewardship plans
  • Distribution of campaign marketing collateral for community and corporate fundraising campaigns and initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates to Management on results of key fundraising activities.
  • Ensure database records on PARF’s database are frequently updated with a record of visits and communication with donors.
  • Assist with the planning and management of special events that support PARF’s fundraising initiatives.
  • Provide additional support as required to the Fundraising and Marketing team across marketing, community fundraising, corporate partnerships and administration.

  • Vibrant friendly and approachable personality and demeanour with the experience to use initiative and sensitivity to ensure that every donor contact provides a positive experience and impression of the Foundation
  • Experience in fundraising or hospitality industries will be highly regarded
  • Ability to take direction when needed and be solution focused

Qualifications/essential criteria

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing or similar
  • Minimum 2 years’ donor steward or hospitality/customer relations experience
  • Passion for community service and pride that your work will help others
  • Drivers Licence
  • Rights to work in Australia
  • Clear police and criminal records
